Nour Taha is a research assistant for MEDC’s Countering Authoritarianism hub and brings a wealth of experience as an Egyptian-American researcher, journalist, and translator.
Taha holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis, earned in June 2024, and his research focuses on political repression in MENA countries and the media representation of Arabs and Muslims in Western media. His work has appeared in prominent outlets such as Middle East Eye, Arabic Post, and Jadaliyya. Currently, he also serves as an editorial research intern for the Arab Center in Washington, D.C.
