Advocacy

MEDC’s advocacy program promotes U.S. policies that support and advance MEDC’s core goals of ending unjust detention, countering authoritarianism, and offering a bold vision for democracy in the Middle East and North Africa. The program works with policymakers and closely partners with a broad coalition of activists in Washington and the region to urge the U.S. government to take action to support democracy and human rights in the MENA region.
