Communications

MEDC’s communications team works to challenge authoritarian systems and promote a pro-democracy and human rights-centered U.S foreign policy toward the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Through a range of publications, campaigns, and events, we document rising authoritarianism, amplify the voices of pro-democracy and human rights advocates, and highlight the impact of U.S. foreign policy on the people of the MENA region.

The communications team also connects members of the media and policymakers to MEDC’s experts, as well as people on the ground in the region, including family members and advocates of political detainees, prominent human rights defenders, and pro-democracy activists.
